The IFCHC initiated the organization of a side-event at the 2016 World Health Assembly, which has been submitted by its’ partner with an official connection to the World Health Organization,
Towards Unity for Health. Together with several other partners like the World Federation of Public Health Associations, WONCA world, IFMSA, IAPO and the Slovenian Government it has been further developed and now accepted by the WHO. On Monday the 23rd of May a 90min time- slot will raise awareness among WHO memberstates to advocate for strong Community Oriented Primary Care everywhere in the world.
